Create pro designs with these 4 FREE online tools

blogs

You don’t have to spend on Adobe Photoshop to ensure that your designs come out phenomenal. If you are just starting out as a designer, there are plenty of free online tools that can help you create great digital marketing content and collaterals. Read our guide and get started with four such tools, which will help you produce sharp, colourful, crisp, and meaningful designs, even as an amateur!

1.     Create perfect designs with Canva

One of the Bees’ all-time favourite tools for online graphic design is Canva. Its drag and drop tool will allow you to create beautiful marketing collaterals (think an insane range such as invitations, posters, banners, annual reports, even presentations and videos). However, its best feature, which makes it perfect for beginners, is the array of pre-built templates for every category, such as Facebook Ads, logos, book covers – and more. You can work with elements such as images, graphics, and icons to add more flair to your designs!

2.     Design beautiful infographics with Piktochart

To make sure that your content hits the visual impact mark and is also informative, Piktochart is your tool of choice. Tell your stories with this intuitive design tool by creating readymade infographics and presentations. If you are bored of tools like Adobe and PowerPoint, Piktochart’s features such as allowing you to download slides as images make it very easy for you to create something that most designers cannot do. This is our recommended tool for infographics, presentation, flyers, and posters.

3.     Retouch your pictures with GIMP

This 22-year-old tool is a free and open-source graphics editor used for image retouching and editing, creating free-form drawings, converting between different image formats, and more specialized tasks that Adobe can do. Almost all of Photoshop’s regular functions are available in GIMP, including the layered approach to building collaterals.

3.     Pick your dream colour palette with Adobe Colour CC

With Adobe Colour CC, try out, create and save various colour schemes, each of which consists of a series of five colours. You can pick out the best colour scheme and theme for your website, landing page, or newsletter. We recommend this tool for website designers and website UI creators.
